Audiophile Speakers
Audiophile equipment including audiophile speakers are often considered to be extremely expensive. An average audiophile pays a lot of attention to every detail which might affect the sound quality: design, materials, drivers, dispersion and even the position in the room. Speakers are without the doubt the most important component of every audiophile equipment no matter which sound sources are used.
Audiophile speakers are not necessarily unaffordable but there is no compromise when it comes to sound quality. Audiophiles usually prefer speakers of high end brands with good reputation but the majority of them also agrees that speakers from some less known brands in lower price range provide extraordinary sound quality as well. There are many list of “the best audiophile speakers” on the Internet but it is very important to keep in mind that the reviews of sound quality of particular speakers are very subjective.
Price does not necessarily determine the quality but honestly speaking, it most often is a guarantee for sound quality. However, considering that carefully chosen high end audiophile speakers can be used for a decade or even more they are actually not that expensive. If deciding to purchase audiophile speakers it may be wiser (and less expensive in the end) to spent $1,000 or $2,000 more and to choose speakers of a brand which has a good reputation within the audiophile community.
